A sales role that turns a great enquiry into a clear, buildable space.
Role: Sales Designer
Company: Life Space Cabins
Location: Yealmpton, South Devon
Salary: £35,000–£60,000
Job Description:
Design-led. Calm. High standards.
Life Space Cabins builds some of the most beautiful and thoughtful cabins in the UK. We are looking for a Sales Designer to help shape the next chapter.
This is a new role in the business. Until now, this work has been covered founder-led. Jamie & Kate will remain closely involved in a support capacity, while focusing their own time on key projects and opportunities.
This is not a pushy sales job. It is not full architecture. It is the role that turns a great enquiry into a clear, buildable space.
You will
- Lead client consultations across our product range and services
- Guide layout, options, and specification decisions
- Create a frozen brief before technical design begins
- Help clients feel confident, not overwhelmed
- Protect the team from scope creep and late changes
You are
- Design-literate and commercially sharp
- Calm with clients, clear with boundaries
- Structured, thoughtful, and decisive
- Comfortable owning the definition of what gets built
We are open-minded on the experience level.
You may be earlier in your career, with the right instincts and the desire to grow with the business.
Or you may be a more experienced professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership quickly.
Why this matters
At Life Space Cabins, we prioritise quality over quantity.
We build a small number of exceptional spaces each year, thoughtfully crafted with care, intention, and individuality.
This role brings calm and clarity to the front end.
It helps clients make confident decisions early.
It protects the craft of what we build.
Quality over pressure. Care over chaos.
Location and Hours
HQ based in South Devon
Full time – 40 hours per week (flexible working considered)
This is primarily an in-person role, working closely with the founders, marketing and delivery team. Some flexibility is possible between full-time and part-time, though our preference is for a full-time hire.
The role will include travel for client visits, kitchen table consultations, site meetings, and trade shows across the UK.
You will be out in the field at times, but ultimately this is an HQ-based role rooted in our South Devon workshop and office.
